Journey: Arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport and transfer to Negombo (approximately 45 minutes).

Sightseeing and Activities:

  • Relax at your hotel after your long flight.

  • Explore Negombo’s fishing village, bustling markets, and Dutch canal.

  • Witness a beautiful sunset over the Negombo Lagoon.

  • Overnight Stay: Negombo.

Journey: Drive from Negombo to Wilpattu National Park (approximately four hours).

Sightseeing and Activities:

  • Enjoy a scenic road trip through rural Sri Lanka.

  • Afternoon Jeep Safari at Wilpattu National Park, one of Sri Lanka’s largest and oldest national parks, famous for leopards, sloth bears, and deer.

  • Spend the night in a wildlife campsite under the stars, listening to the sounds of nature.

  • Overnight Stay: Wilpattu.

Journey: Drive from Wilpattu to Habarana (approximately two and a half hours).

Sightseeing and Activities:

  • Start your morning with a second Jeep Safari in Wilpattu to spot more wildlife.

  • Travel to Minneriya or Kaudulla National Park for an evening safari.

  • Witness the Elephant Gathering, where over 50 wild elephants gather at the reservoir.

  • Overnight Stay: Habarana.

Journey: Drive from Habarana to Kandy (approximately two and a half hours).

Journey: Drive from Nuwara Eliya to Udawalawe (approximately two and a half hours).
